Skeye inspected a number of wind turbines belonging to park Beabuorren at the beginning of January 2013 near the Frisian town of Bolsward in the Netherlands. The purpose was to determine if the damage from a shotgun as found on one of the masts was also present on the blades. To get a good view of the blades the Eagle-Eye UAS was used equipped with a 24 Mp camera. An extra person (spotter) was deployed close to the mast in order to judge the distance between the UAS and the blades and this was communicated to the pilot. Fortunately for the owner no damage could be found on any of the blades.
